
On October 25, 2018, Communication Arts Division of Faculty of Management Science, together with Creative Media Club, arranged 7th Great Teacher’s Day Observation Ceremony. Assistant Professor Dr. Prateep Wajeetongratana served as chairman of the ceremony and lighted the incense sticks and candles for Lord Ganesha worship. Faculty of Management Science’s associate deans, Head of Communication Arts Division, faculty members, staff, and alumni also attended the ceremony. The Great Teacher’s Day Observation Ceremony was held at 1st floor, in the open space of Building 56.
In the Great Teacher’s Day Observation Ceremony, there were also the following ceremonies, Lord Ganesha worship, Father of Thai Communication Arts worship, ‘Khrop Khru’ – a sacred ceremony to indoctrinate the art pupils -- to faculty members, staff, students, alumni and other participants, and communication arts major freshmen’s professing ceremony. Moreover, a certificate ceremony for students attending ‘Potential Development of Creative Media Club Leader Training’ was held before the completion of 7th Great Teacher’s Day Observation Ceremony.
Great Teacher’s Day Observation Ceremony was first held in 2012. The aims of this annual ceremony were: Firstly, to provide opportunities for Communication Arts major students to express their gratitude to King Mongkut, Father of Thai Communication Arts., Secondly, to convey the willingness to become qualified Communication Arts major graduates.
