On March 3, 2025,
the Accounting Program, Faculty of
Management Science, organized a workshop
on “Knowing and Keeping Up with
ESG and New Accounting Standards for
Digital Accountants”, chaired by
Dr. Anocha Rojanapanich, Head of
the Accounting Program, with the
objective of organizing the workshop to
provide students, alumni, and accounting
professionals with an understanding of
the ESG framework, sustainability
reporting standards, ESG impact
assessment and measurement, the use of
digital technology in preparing and
presenting reports, and the analysis and
use of data for decision-making. Dr.
Panya Samritpradit, Subcommittee and
Secretary of the Study and Monitoring of
International Financial Reporting
Standards, Certified Public Accountant,
and Senior Accountant of Siam Cement
Public Company Limited, was honored to
be a speaker on the topic of Knowing and
Keeping Up with ESG and New Accounting
Standards for Digital
Accountants”. Accounting students,
alumni, and accounting professionals
attended the workshop at Suwaphak Niwet
Conference Room (5724), Faculty of
Management Science.

sector is facing challenges in the
environment, society, and governance.
(Environmental, Social and Governance:
ESG) Business organizations are
increasingly placing importance on
sustainable business operations. In
addition, changes in financial reporting
standards that have begun to incorporate
ESG issues into financial reporting have
resulted in the accounting profession
having to adapt and develop its
knowledge on these issues. In addition,
the transition to the digital age has
also required accountants to have
knowledge and understanding of digital
technologies related to the preparation
and presentation of financial and
sustainability information,” said
