On May 4, 2025, Asst.
Prof. Dr. Ladaporn Pitak, Head of
Marketing, Faculty of Management
Science, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat
University, along with students from the
Marketing program, went to provide
academic services to people in the Trok
Ton Pho community, Dusit District,
Bangkok. They implemented the project to
develop occupational potential to
increase community income for fiscal
year 2025, which aimed to transfer
knowledge about creating additional
occupations, develop occupational
skills, and promote the concept of using
local natural resources creatively and
sustainably.
This training activity was held at
the multipurpose building, Trok Ton Pho
community, Dusit District. It was a
workshop on the topic of
“Tie-dyeing fabric from natural
colors (various parts of plants), such
as rosewood bark: dark brown, ebony
flowers: black, guava leaves: light
green-gray, turmeric-bright yellow,
etc.” We were honored to have Mr.
Phanuwat Uaybangmod, an expert in
tie-dyeing handicrafts, as a lecturer
and demonstrate the tie-dyeing process
in detail, along with Mr. Natthakrit
Chaikian, an alumnus of the Faculty of
Management Science, who proudly
supported the event. This training
session received a lot of attention from
the public and entrepreneurs in the
community. The participants had the
opportunity to practice and exchange
knowledge with each other in a warm and
friendly manner.
