The Accounting Department,
Faculty of Management Science, Suan
Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized
the training program “THE NEXT GEN
ACCOUNTANT: Transforming the Role of New
Generation Accountants with AI.”
Assistant Professor Dr. Nattapong
Techaratanaset, Deputy Dean for Research
and Academic Services, was assigned by
Assistant Professor Dr. Chutima
Klaysang, Dean of the Faculty of
Management Science, to preside over the
opening ceremony. Faculty members from
the Accounting Department participated
in the program. Mr. Rachit Chairat,
President of the Association of Quality
Accounting Firms, and Mr. Kittidech
Rakthawornkul, Board Member of the
Association of Quality Accounting Firms,
from the Association of Quality
Accounting Firms (ACTAP), were invited
as speakers to share knowledge and
experiences regarding the application of
AI in real-world accounting work,
enhancing the efficiency of accountants,
and essential skills for modern
accountants in the digital business
world.
The
objective of this training program was
to broaden the perspectives of students
and new generation accountants on the
direction of the accounting profession
in an era where AI and technology are
transforming the way organizations work
in the future. Accounting students
attended the training at Suwapakh Niwet
Meeting Room (5724), Faculty of
Management Science.
Mr. Rachit
Chaiyarat, President of the Association
of Quality Accounting Offices, said of
its importance that “Preparing
Next Generation Accountants to
understand accounting, technology and
business context is an important step in
upgrading the Thai accounting profession
to keep pace with the future
world.”
