On March 10, 2016, third-year
students from the Human Resource
Management program, class 001, Faculty
of Management Science, Suan Sunandha
Rajabhat University, organized an
academic seminar titled "Creating
an Organization Where People Want to
Work, Not Just Have to Work There,"
to provide a learning space and exchange
experiences in contemporary human
resource management. Mr. Saranyu
Pienthamdee (Beer BUFF TALK), a content
creator specializing in self-development
and career development, was invited as a
guest speaker to share his knowledge and
real-world work experience with the
students and seminar
participants.
The
seminar was also honored by the presence
of Assistant Professor Siri-orn
Champathong, Lecturer Khajirat
Phumphruk, and Assistant Professor Dr.
Arnop Panphuang, lecturers and seminar
project advisors.
The objective of the seminar was
to foster understanding of concepts and
approaches to developing organizations
into workplaces where employees
"want to work" and grow with
the organization, not just fulfilling
their duties. The lecture content
reflected the importance of
organizational culture, job motivation,
and effective human resource management.
This included creating a work
environment that fosters employee
happiness, engagement, and pride in the
organization.
In
addition, seminar participants heard
real-world experiences shared by the
speakers through storytelling and
practical activities that reflected
perspectives on working in modern
organizations. This included aspects of
self-development, adapting to changing
work environments, and building
effective relationships with others
within the organization.
The event also provided
opportunities for participants to engage
closely, such as exchanging ideas,
asking questions on interesting topics,
and jointly analyzing the situation of
human resource management in the context
of contemporary organizations, which is
full of challenges from technological
changes, work styles, and the
expectations of the younger
generation.
Participation in this
event not only opened up new
perspectives for seminar participants
but also sparked ideas for
self-development, enhanced work
motivation, and prepared them for a
meaningful and high-quality career in
human resource management in the
future.
