The Faculty of Management Sciences has joined forces with the Small and Medium Enterprise Credit Guarantee Corporation (SMEG) to promote the potential of young entrepreneurs through an integrated learning and business program. The aim is to elevate knowledge and translate it into practical application in the modern business world.
One of the key activities of the project is “Developing the Potential of New-Generation Entrepreneurs: From Concept to Practice in Startup Businesses,” which provides a platform for students to pitch simulated business plans based on the knowledge accumulated throughout the semester. This reflects their creativity and potential for future entrepreneurship.
The evaluation of the projects was conducted by esteemed faculty members, including Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Yutthapoom Thanagijburisut; Associate Dean for Planning and Quality Assurance, Dr. Ittiphum Promma; and Assistant Professor Dr. Pisit Pojancharuvit, Head of the Business Administration Group, along with lecturers from SMEG, led by Ms. Panasiya Yuktasewi, Director of Customer Promotion and Entrepreneur Development. This initiative provided in-depth feedback and direct business experience to students.
On this occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Chutima Klaysung, Dean of the Faculty of Management Science, presented awards to the winners of the business plan competition and thanked the lecturers from SME Bank for sharing their knowledge, from the basics to the complete process of running a startup business.
This project marks another important step in developing the potential of students, preparing them for the real world of work. They will be able to apply their knowledge to their careers or build their own businesses sustainably in the future. It also reflects the strong collaboration between educational institutions and the business sector in driving sustainable grassroots economic development.
