“From School Field to
University: 4 Young Futsal Players on
the Phet Sunantha Scholarship with an
Unchanging
Goal”
From the futsal field within the
high school walls to the path of dreams
within the university walls, this is the
story of 4 young football players from
Thepsirin School. It's not just
about "sports," but a
testament to discipline, determination,
and continuous
self-improvement.
Teerapong Jongsukweewong (Bank),
Kenichi Seki (Ken), Papangkorn Nilnavee
(Kaka), and Paponsorn Kongtuk (Jay) are
futsal players who came from different
academic backgrounds in high school, but
share a common heart: a love for futsal
and a dream of developing themselves to
their full potential.
Upon entering
university, all four chose the same path
again, as students majoring in Human
Resource Management in the Faculty of
Management Science at Suan Sunandha
Rajabhat University. They also received
the "Phet Sunandha
Scholarship" for athletic ability
and remain key players on the
university's futsal team.
Despite their demanding
schedules filled with training and
competition, all four have proven that
"good athletes must also be good
students." Their academic
performance has consistently been
excellent, leading to offers to pursue
master's degrees as university
athletes—a significant step in
their lives.
On the field, they
represent strong teamwork.
Off the field, they
are role models of responsibility and
dedication.
His notable achievements are
numerous, including:
• 1st
Runner-up in the IMANE Thailand Futsal
Division 1 University League
2023
• TEAM OF THE WEEK and TEAM
OF THE TOURNAMENT awards in several
university-level tournaments
•
3rd Runner-up in the IMANE Thailand
Futsal University Super League
2024
• TEAM OF THE WEEK award
for the 2024–2025 season
And another personal
source of pride for "Bank"
Teerapong Jongsukweewong, who won the
Popular Vote Boy award at the IMANE
Thailand Futsal Freshy University The
Championship 2023–2024, reflecting
his outstanding talent and
charm.
Behind these successes is not just
talent, but a clear vision for his own
future.
Teerapong said, "I chose to
study this subject because I see human
resources as a key factor in
organizational success. I want to learn
about recruiting, developing, and
managing personnel effectively so that I
can use this knowledge to develop
organizations in the
future."
Kenichi added, "I
believe that people are the heart of
success in an organization."
"That's why I chose to study
this field."
Papangkorn believes,
"People who are good at human
resource management will have more
choices in life. I want to develop
myself to be ready in both knowledge and
decision-making in the real
world."
While Paponsorn left an
interesting perspective: "The
success of an organization is not just
about strategy, but also about the
'people' who make that strategy
a reality."
The words of all four
reflect an understanding of the
"value of people," which
aligns with their chosen academic paths
and also connects to their roles as
athletes, where teamwork, understanding,
and cooperation are key.
From high school
students who started with a dream, today
they are taking steps towards becoming
both "athletes" and
"high-quality human resource
managers" in the future.
And before parting ways,
the four young men left a short but
powerful thought:
"No one is good from the
start, but everyone can improve if they
don't stop
trying."
A simple sentence that clearly
reflects their life journey—a
journey not paved with roses, but filled
with effort and an unyielding
spirit.
