
The Faculty of Management
Science, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat
University, organized an activity to
preserve the beautiful Thai culture in
celebration of the Songkran Festival
2026, under the name "Students of
the Queen United to Preserve Songkran
Traditions 2026," by the Student
Affairs and Arts and Culture Division in
collaboration with the Student Club,
amidst a warm atmosphere filled with
respect for Thai customs, at the
Suwapakh Niwet Meeting Room
(5724).
The
event was honored by the presence of
Assistant Professor Dr. Chutima
Klaysung, Dean of the Faculty of
Management Science, as the presiding
officer, along with the executive
committee, faculty members, staff, and
students, reflecting the collaborative
efforts of "Students of the
Queen" in preserving and continuing
valuable cultural traditions.
Important activities
within the event included the ceremony
of bathing the main Buddha image,
bathing the statue of Her Majesty Queen
Sunantha Kumareerat, and the ceremony of
pouring water to ask for blessings from
esteemed faculty members, who were
honored by... Assistant Professor Dr.
Chutima Klaysang, Associate Professor
Dr. Krisada Sangmanee, Associate
Professor Dr. Thanasuwit Tapthiranrak,
and Lecturer Dr. Supap Akraphatumwong
participated in the water pouring
ceremony to receive blessings amidst an
atmosphere of gratitude, respect, and
auspiciousness.
Assistant Professor Dr. Chutima Klaysung
emphasized that, "Preserving arts
and culture is a key mission of the
Faculty of Management Sciences, aiming
to instill in personnel and students an
appreciation for Thai identity and to
collectively continue fine traditions.
This activity is therefore another
reflection of cooperation, unity, and
pride in our cultural
roots."
On
the occasion of the Thai New Year,
Buddhist Era 2569, the Dean also offered
blessings to the attendees, saying,
"May the power of the Triple Gem
and all sacred things bless you all with
happiness, prosperity, fulfillment of
your wishes, career advancement, and
good health throughout the
year."
The atmosphere of this event was
therefore not just a celebration of the
Thai New Year, but also a continuation
of cultural ties, respect, and
generational bonds. Towards preserving
and maintaining the beautiful and
sustainable values of Thai
culture.
