On May 1, 2026, the Accounting
Department, Faculty of Management
Sciences, led by Assistant Professor Dr.
Anocha Rojpanich, Head of the Accounting
Department, along with faculty members
and students from the Accounting
Department, visited the Phraya Prasit
community in Dusit District, Bangkok, to
implement the project to develop
vocational potential to improve
community income for the fiscal year
2026.
This
project focused on promoting vocational
skills that can be further developed to
generate real income for the people in
the area. The activities included
hands-on training in making the
traditional Thai snack "Thung
Thong" (golden bags) and the Thai
herbal drink "Nam Anchan
Manao" (butterfly pea lemonade).
Ms. Nittaya Nimlamai, an expert
lecturer, provided knowledge and shared
techniques.
In addition, accounting students
organized a lecture on "Calculating
Occupational Costs" to enable
participants to plan costs, determine
selling prices, and manage income
effectively – a crucial foundation
for vocational success.
The atmosphere at the event was
lively, with many community members
showing interest and participating
enthusiastically. This reflects the
excellent cooperation between the
educational institution and the
community in developing potential and
creating career opportunities to
concretely improve the quality of life
for the people in the area.
This project is
another activity that helps enhance
knowledge coupled with academic service
to the community. And it encourages
students to learn from real-world
experiences through participation in
sustainable community
development.
