Students from the Faculty of Management Science, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, continue to expand their learning opportunities internationally through the 3rd short-term training program in media production for marketing communication and a study tour at Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts (DIMA) in South Korea. On June 30, 2016, the second day of the training, students participated in intensive practical learning activities in both professional media production and K-Drama OST singing to enhance their potential and develop their skills to international standards.
In the morning, students received training on Studio Production from Mr. Jang Byung Min, Dean of the Faculty of Content Creation at Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts. He shared his knowledge on comprehensive media production, from the principles of photography and video filming to the use of production equipment, composition techniques, camera angle selection, presentation design, and creating professional-quality visual and audio work. This is crucial knowledge that can be effectively applied to the production of marketing and communication media in the digital age.
In the afternoon, the learning atmosphere was filled with fun and inspiration with a K-Drama OST Singing activity led by Prof. Miran Yoo, a highly qualified professor, artist, and renowned artist creator in the Korean music industry. She shared techniques in vocal technique, emotional control, song delivery, and the art of singing Korean drama OSTs. This helped students learn about vocal communication, expression, and contemporary South Korean culture through direct experience from an expert in the entertainment industry.
This project was closely supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Nattapong Techaratanaset, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Kwanchat Wongchanthip, a lecturer in the Accounting Department and mentor, who were assigned by Assistant Professor Dr. Chutima Klaysang, Dean of the Faculty of Management Science, to oversee and facilitate the students' participation in the project.
Throughout the training day, students gained knowledge, direct experience, and inspiration from a leading media and arts educational institution in the Republic of Korea. The atmosphere was filled with happiness, laughter, and smiles, reflecting the commitment of the Faculty of Management Science, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. To empower students to keep pace with the changing media and marketing industries, and to enhance their potential to become high-quality graduates who are competitive on the international stage.
