Affairs, along with Associate Professor
Dr. Pongsawee Supanonth, Deputy Dean for
Student Affairs, Faculty of Management
Science, lecturers in the Film and
Digital Media program, and advisors to
the Film Club of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat
University, led a team of film club
students consisting of Mr. Siriwat
Thaworn, Mr. Thanaphat Saengsong, Mr.
Sumet Ketusiri, Mr. Sitsanuka
Nimnamchai, and Mr. Suphachok
Champathanaarun, third-year students in
the Film and Digital Media program, to
participate in a live interview on the
"Wan Mai Variety" program on
Thai PBS television.
This participation came after the
student team brought pride to the
university and Thailand with their short
film "Stand Alone," which was
selected to be screened at the BRICS
International Student Film Festival 2026
in the Arab Republic of Egypt. This
international student film festival
brings together creative works from
talented young people around the world,
marking another important step for Suan
Sunandha students on the international
film stage.
During the program, they shared
their inspiration, creative concepts,
and the team's work process.
Furthermore, the invaluable experience
of having the opportunity to showcase
Thai films on the world stage reflects
the potential of students in film
production and digital media to compete
internationally with pride. It also
serves as an inspiration to young people
who dream of a career in the film and
creative media industry.
Assistant Professor Dr.
Pongsawee Supanonth stated, “This
success of the students reflects their
dedication to learning, professional
collaboration, and the application of
classroom knowledge to create real-world
works that have gained international
recognition. This is another source of
great pride for the Film Club and the
university.”
This achievement is a
result of integrating academic knowledge
with practical application, aiming to
develop students' potential to
become professional media creators with
skills that meet the demands of the
international creative industry and can
bring pride to the university and
Thailand on the international
stage.
