
The Faculty of Management
Science, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat
University, in collaboration with Land
and Houses Bank Public Company Limited
(LH Bank), the Thai Financial Planning
Association, and the Mae Fah Luang
Foundation under the Royal Patronage,
organized the "LH Bank SMART Money
2026" personal financial discipline
promotion project. The project aims to
enhance students' knowledge of
financial planning, saving, investment,
and financial risk management, preparing
them for life and work in the modern
economy.
The
project was honored by the presence of
Assistant Professor Dr. Chutima
Klaysung, Dean of the Faculty of
Management Science, who presided over
the opening ceremony. Also present were
Assistant Professor Dr. Yutthapoom
Thanakitborisut, Vice Dean for Academic
Affairs, and faculty members from the
Business Economics program, as well as
Assistant Professor Dr. Natchat Phasuk,
Head of the Finance and Investment
Program, who welcomed the speakers and
led the Business Economics students in
participating in the event. First- to
third-year students majoring in Finance
and Investment participated in the
event.
On
this occasion, Mr. Wichien
Amornpoonchai, Director and Deputy
Managing Director of Land and Houses
Bank Public Company Limited, spoke about
LH Bank's commitment to supporting
the development of financial literacy
among Thai youth, aiming to build
financial resilience and promote
discipline in asset management from a
young age, leading to them becoming
important contributors to the
country's future.
The activities within the project were
designed to allow participants to learn
through real-world experiences. It began
with the board game "The Fin
Warrior," which simulated
financial, saving, and investment
situations, giving students the
opportunity to practice systematic
financial thinking, analysis, planning,
and decision-making. This was
facilitated by knowledge sharing from
Ms. Sukon Pangplianru, Ms. Nattalak
Kanjanavirij, and Mr. Anurak Prakit,
qualified lecturers from the Thai
Financial Planning
Association.
In
addition, there was a special lecture on
investment planning, risk management,
knowledge of funds and financial
products, and dealing with new forms of
financial fraud, delivered by Mr.
Polpipat Phaewpalsorn, a lecturer from
Wealth Advisory, LH Bank. He shared
money management techniques for
first-jobbers, enabling students to
apply them in their daily lives and in
their future careers. Throughout the
project, students gained comprehensive
knowledge in personal financial
planning, saving, appropriate
investment, risk management, and
financial decision-making through
practical activities.
They also gained an
understanding of financial products and
investments in the digital age, all of
which are essential skills for building
financial security and a quality life in
the future.
The
“LH Bank SMART Money 2026”
project, held at the Suwapakh Niwet
Meeting Room (5724), Faculty of
Management Science, Suan Sunandha
Rajabhat University, reflects the strong
collaboration between educational
institutions and financial organizations
in developing students' potential in
Financial Literacy and Financial
Discipline, preparing them to become
quality graduates with knowledge,
responsibility, and the ability to
manage their finances
securely.
