The Faculty of Management Science, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, in collaboration with Land and Houses Bank Public Company Limited (LH Bank), the Thai Financial Planning Association, and the Mae Fah Luang Foundation under the Royal Patronage, organized the "LH Bank SMART Money 2026" personal financial discipline promotion project. The project aims to enhance students' knowledge of financial planning, saving, investment, and financial risk management, preparing them for life and work in the modern economy.
The project was honored by the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Chutima Klaysung, Dean of the Faculty of Management Science, who presided over the opening ceremony. Also present were Assistant Professor Dr. Yutthapoom Thanakitborisut, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, and faculty members from the Business Economics program, as well as Assistant Professor Dr. Natchat Phasuk, Head of the Finance and Investment Program, who welcomed the speakers and led the Business Economics students in participating in the event. First- to third-year students majoring in Finance and Investment participated in the event.
On this occasion, Mr. Wichien Amornpoonchai, Director and Deputy Managing Director of Land and Houses Bank Public Company Limited, spoke about LH Bank's commitment to supporting the development of financial literacy among Thai youth, aiming to build financial resilience and promote discipline in asset management from a young age, leading to them becoming important contributors to the country's future.
The activities within the project were designed to allow participants to learn through real-world experiences. It began with the board game "The Fin Warrior," which simulated financial, saving, and investment situations, giving students the opportunity to practice systematic financial thinking, analysis, planning, and decision-making. This was facilitated by knowledge sharing from Ms. Sukon Pangplianru, Ms. Nattalak Kanjanavirij, and Mr. Anurak Prakit, qualified lecturers from the Thai Financial Planning Association.
In addition, there was a special lecture on investment planning, risk management, knowledge of funds and financial products, and dealing with new forms of financial fraud, delivered by Mr. Polpipat Phaewpalsorn, a lecturer from Wealth Advisory, LH Bank. He shared money management techniques for first-jobbers, enabling students to apply them in their daily lives and in their future careers. Throughout the project, students gained comprehensive knowledge in personal financial planning, saving, appropriate investment, risk management, and financial decision-making through practical activities.          They also gained an understanding of financial products and investments in the digital age, all of which are essential skills for building financial security and a quality life in the future.
The “LH Bank SMART Money 2026” project, held at the Suwapakh Niwet Meeting Room (5724), Faculty of Management Science, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, reflects the strong collaboration between educational institutions and financial organizations in developing students' potential in Financial Literacy and Financial Discipline, preparing them to become quality graduates with knowledge, responsibility, and the ability to manage their finances securely.
