Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University,
through its Student Development
Division, held the annual Wai Kru
(Teacher Appreciation) Ceremony for the
academic year 2026 to uphold the
beautiful Thai tradition, instill the
virtue of gratitude, and raise awareness
of the value of teachers who impart
knowledge to their students.
On this occasion, Associate
Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon,
President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat
University, presided over the ceremony,
lighting incense and candles to worship
the Triple Gem, blessing the books for
auspiciousness, and giving a speech to
the students. She emphasized the
importance of diligence, honesty,
discipline, and the use of knowledge
coupled with morality in order to become
quality graduates and important
contributors to the country in the
future.
On the
same occasion, Assistant Professor Dr.
Chutima Klaysung, Dean of the Faculty of
Management Science, and student
representatives from the Faculty of
Management Science participated in the
ceremony. The student representatives
presented flower arrangements, incense,
and candles to pay homage to the
teachers, recited a speech praising the
teachers' virtues, led the
recitation of the Wai Kru vow, and took
an oath, expressing respect, gratitude,
and a commitment to their studies to the
best of their ability. To instill pride
in themselves, their families, and the
institution,
the atmosphere within the ceremony
was filled with elegance and faith,
reflecting the beautiful bond between
teachers and students, a fundamental
basis of Thai education. It also
fostered a sense of respect for
teachers, who impart knowledge,
morality, and life experiences, shaping
students into graduates who possess
knowledge, skills, and responsibility
towards society.
The ceremony was held at the Suan
Sunandha Health and Sports Center, 4th
floor, with university administrators,
educational management unit executives,
faculty members, and first-year students
in attendance. The atmosphere was warm,
filled with pride, and upholding the
valuable traditions of Suan Sunandha
Rajabhat University, which remains
committed to producing graduates who are
"filled with wisdom, possessing
morality, and leading
society."
