Why are
“Blue” and
“Pink” the signature colors
of Suan Sunandha?
When you think of
“Suan Sunandha,”
beyond
just the university’s
name...
Blue and Pink are the two
colors seen almost
everywhere—
in student
activities, shirts, public relations
materials, university media, and
significant occasions.
But have you
ever wondered...
Why these two
specific colors?
In reality, Suan
Sunandha’s signature colors
weren't chosen simply because they
looked beautiful or matched
well.
They hold deep meaning
connected to the monarchy and the
institution's
history.
Blue
Represents the
color associated with the Monarch.
It
reflects the bond with the monarchy and
is part of a legacy that has been passed
down to the present
day.
Pink
Represents the
color associated with the day of birth
of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V).
His
Majesty played a pivotal role in the
history of Suan Sunandha, linking the
color pink to the very roots of this
place.

When
“Blue” and
“Pink” come
together,
they are not merely a
familiar color combination.
They
serve as a symbol that invites us to
understand the roots of Suan
Sunandha—
from the stories of
the past
to the university of
today;
from the generations before
us
to us, the new generation.
So,
whenever you see Blue and
Pink,
don’t view them simply as
the “university
colors.”
Try looking a little
deeper...
because these two colors
are telling us that
“We
are part of a long-standing
legacy.”
And no matter which
faculty we study in,
what year we are
in, or even after we eventually step out
beyond the gates of Suan Sunandha...
Blue and pink remain the colors that
make us turn around and proudly
declare…
“We are
Suan Sunandha.”
