The Faculty of Management Science at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University is actively enhancing the capabilities of its international faculty members to elevate learning management and student supervision standards, ensuring alignment with educational benchmarks and real-world work contexts. Dr. Hassan Raza and Ms. Catherine Cosme Talawan, lecturers in the International Business program, participated in a training session on effective supervision practices for international faculty. This session was part of the "Professional Faculty Supervisors and Mentors Development Project" for the 2026 fiscal year.
The training was organized by the International Affairs Division in collaboration with the Educational Services Division. Assistant Professor Dr. Nattapat Kaewrattanapat, Vice President for Academic Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony. Joining as guest speakers to share their expertise and experience in supervision were Dr. Tonfon Sapnirun, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, and Dr. Benjaporn Meeprom, Program Chair of English Teaching Innovation at the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi.
The training focused on systematic supervision practices, communication and coordination between faculty and students, and the management of partnerships regarding Cooperative Education and Work-Integrated Learning (CWIE). The objective was to equip faculty members with the knowledge to effectively monitor, support, and advise students in a manner appropriate to the specific contexts of workplaces and real-world professional environments.
The participation of international faculty in this training serves as a crucial mechanism for elevating the Faculty of Management Science's standards of supervision and learning management, while also enhancing the faculty's readiness to collaborate effectively with students and industry partners. It aligns with the approach to developing a workforce with the competencies and skills that meet the demands of the modern workplace.
