The Faculty of Fine and Applied
Arts at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat
University organized the
“Kanesaya: For Lord Ganesha”
event at the plaza in front of the
“Blessing-Bestowing Ganesha”
statue on the university grounds. The
event aimed to preserve arts and culture
while promoting faith-based activities
that intertwine art, belief, and
cultural traditions.
Renowned Luk Thung (Thai
country music) artists—Kratae,
Kratai, and Krit—joined the event,
adding vibrancy and enhancing the
atmosphere of devotion. They
participated in the Kanesaya ceremony
and the Aarti (fire offering) ritual,
and performed a devotional tribute to
the Blessing-Bestowing Ganesha, amidst
an ambiance filled with faith and
artistic beauty.
Participation in this ceremony
marked an auspicious occasion,
reflecting the belief in seeking
blessings for success, smooth endeavors,
and auspicious new
beginnings—honoring Lord Ganesha
as the symbol of arts, sciences, and
success.
