students, Faculty of Management Science,
organized a seminar on “Upgrading
Ayutthaya Cocoa Products and Processing
from Local to International
Market” as part of the
International Business Seminar course by
Asst. Prof. Dr. Pichaman Chansuchai, a
lecturer in the course, which was
honored by Mr. Pattana
Phadongaut, , President of
the Suan Chomtisakarden Community
Enterprise, Lat Bua Luang District, Phra
Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, a
community enterprise that focuses on
cocoa production and processing, as well
as promoting learning and agricultural
tourism, and Ms. Noppamas Boonsong, who
honored us by being a speaker to share
knowledge and demonstrate how to make
chocolate fondue at the Mini Theater,
Building 57, 6th Floor.
The purpose
of this seminar was to provide knowledge
on cocoa processing, develop business
networks, and increase product value to
compete in the international market,
which is an important opportunity to
upgrade the Thai cocoa industry to grow
sustainably. Students applied the
knowledge they gained from the seminar,
both in theory and practice, and used
community resources to upgrade by
producing chocolate-coated dried
bananas, which increased the value of
the products and could generate income
for the community.
The students received a
scholarship from Mr. Pattana Phadongaut,
President of the Community Enterprise,
in the amount of 10,000 baht, to further
their knowledge in their
studies.
